The Center for Continuing Education works in cooperation with all departments of the state and the private sector to find out the needs of the work field in terms of skills expected in the graduate student, which helps in collecting data that helps decision-makers to update the curricula for the primary and higher levels.

Continuing education is defined as the education that comes after formal education or after the secondary stage, and its basis is self-initiative and facing challenges and is based on the principle of lifelong learning, in which a person learns a set of new skills and knowledge or develops the existing skills of individuals in a specific field. Continuing education is a means To maintain the individual's desire to acquire new knowledge outside the scope of formal education and thus contribute to the success of the practical life of individuals.

قد يكون التعليم المستمر شخصيا أو داخل  منظمة معينة ويكون شخصيامن خلال برامج الدرجات العلمية والدورات  التي تعقد أفتراضيا  أو يكون تابع للمنظمات  مثل مجالس المدارس المحلية والكليات والجامعات  حيث تقدم هذه المنظمات دورات تعليم مستمر  للأفراد في المجتمع وقد تقدم بعض  هذه المؤسسات شهادة تقديرية أو شهادة مشاركة  في نهاية الدورة الواحدة  أو نهاية سلسلة من الدورات.
