Functions of the Quality Assurance Department

The tasks of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Evaluation Department:

The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance is administratively linked to the President of the University and performs the following tasks:

 

1. Preparing appropriate ways to spread the culture of quality in the university, and to circulate it to all colleges and departments through the divisions of quality assurance in the colleges.
2. Establishing an information base to collect and data on quality and accreditation systems for regional and international educational institutions.
3. Setting clear standards for evaluating and improving the performance of faculty members and associates at Mashreq University in accordance with the University Service Law.
4. Work on building an integrated system for evaluating and improving the performance of administrative staff in all relevant aspects based on activation by the university departments and its affiliated formations.
5. Work on building an integrated system for continuous self-evaluation of all university works and operations.
6. Proposing the programs required for the process of implementing quality systems and cooperating with the appropriate experts to implement the appropriate training programs according to the needs of the actual implementation of the approved quality programs for the cadres working in the department and the quality divisions in the colleges.
7. Providing support to colleges in selecting and adopting standards that will be approved as a starting point for academic accreditation.
8. Developing a plan to implement the quality program in its affiliated colleges through links between the department at the university center and the affiliated quality divisions in the colleges, depending on the predetermined quality objectives.
9. Developing detailed data and statistics on colleges and departments in the university to ensure that they are used in writing reports related to quality and reliability.
10. Follow up on the implementation of the quality management system approved at the university and its faculties through internal auditing of the sites and follow up on the effectiveness of their performance.

11. Ensure that educational programs and processes are completed in accordance with the legal requirements, regulations, and instructions for that certificate.
